Yeah that might be true, but at the end of the day the outsourced company you're employed by is run poorly with high turnover and you'll feel it quick Speaking of exhaustion, management would rather remain clueless as to how it feels literally walking all over the hospital all day and instead write up strangely worded policies and procedures to force you to sign, then slap a food voucher in your hand and give a rehearsed "thanks for your hard work" pep talk. Again mgmt sucks and understaffs us to exhaustion so we can't even assist with the requests in a timely manner. The nurses are advised to "use us or lose us" and request borderline ridiculous requests both in quantity and quality. Almost everyone had a payroll issue if not several during their time with Touchpoint, and the kids in the office just go "ugh that sucks, it'll be retroactive pay I guess" with no remorse. Policies aren't followed until one of them cries or until they get more employees onboarded, training is subpar, and schedules are changed without notice. If you're looking for good experience and just got out of school this is a great job for people with very little experience. You're rated on a 5 star scale for raises but they strictly never give anyone a 5 rating so morale and incentive drop after you're first review. I volunteered for extra events, helping out other facets of the hotel and at the end of the year I had to pull teeth from the exec chef just to get a 1$ raise THERE IS VERY LITTLE OPPORTUNITY TO MOVE UP HERE The sales team has no sense of time and what man power it takes to create their specified menus and they often change the orders at the last minute or add work once the order is already finished. Also, the micromanaging never ceases to end. This is not a very skilled chef to learn from. Working for the main pastry/bread chef was a VERY stressful and overwhelming experience.
